James G. Brown

March 7, 1918-April 19, 1996

MISHAWAKA - James G. Brown, 78, of 56280 Francis Ave., died at 6 p.m. Friday in his home after an illness. Mr. Brown retired as a truck driver. He was born March 7, 1918, in Rockport, W.Va., and lived in Mishawaka for 20 years. On Oct. 7, 1974, in Elkhart, he married Jessie L. Stanley. She survives with two daughters, Toni Jackson of Mishawaka and Tana Rae Jinkins of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Schiferl and Delores Moorehead, both of Florida; and two brothers, P.J. Randolph of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Gordon Brown of Iowa City, Iowa. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, is in charge of arrangements.
