Burrell J. Brown.

 

     Burrell J. Brown, 434 Parkovash Ave., manager of the South Bend office of the Western Union Telegraph Co., died about noon Saturday in his home after suffering a heart attack.  He was born in Saginaw, Mich., on Aug. 17, 1903.  He came to South Bend in 1940 from Flint, Mich.  His wife, Louise, survives with a daughter, Beverly, at home; six brothers, James of Battle Creek, Mich., Robert of Dearborn, Mich., and Harold, Russell, Wallace and William, all of Saginaw; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Minns, Mrs. Frank Mayer, and Mrs. James Nolan, all of Saginaw, and Mrs. John Donlan of Flint.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rev. George Welsh, C.S.C., pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
