MISHAWAKA - Mabel R. Brubaker, 92, born on Dec. 4, 1905, in Mishawaka, Ind., lived there until 1996. She died on Tuesday, July 21, at Port Charlotte, Fla.
She was married on Nov. 8, 1924, to Wilfred V. Brubaker, preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by a son, Herbert L. Brubaker of Mishawaka, who was born on Aug. 14, 1926, and died on July 8, 1995.
She is survived by a son, John C. Brubaker of Lake Suzy, Fla.; a daughter, Carol Ann Healy of Willow Grove, Pa.; and by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
There will be no services or visitation. The Kays-Ponger/Royal Palm Funeral Home, 635 E. Marion Street, Punta Gorda, Fla., handled arrangements. 941/639-1133.
