SOUTH BEND - Robert J. ''Bobby'' Brunner, 23, of West King Street, died early Sunday in the alley behind his home. St. Joseph County Deputy Coroner Charles Hurley ruled the death a suicide. Mr. Brunner was employed by Steak n Shake. He was born Aug. 28, 1972, in Madison, Wis., and lived in South Bend since 1985.

 

He is survived by two sons, Brandon J. Guisinger and Tyler Brunner, both of South Bend; his mother and stepfather, Alice J. and Alan Rahn of South Bend; his father, Robert F. Brunner of Sauk City, Wis.; a sister, Angela Rahn of South Bend; a brother, Henry of South Bend; and maternal grandmother, Genevieve B. Meyer of Chiefland, Fla. He attended LaSalle High School and participated on the football and wrestling teams.

 

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
