Thekla Bryant

April 20, 1910 - Feb. 18, 1998

Thekla ''Ranata'' Bryant, 87, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the St. Joseph Care Center West.

Mrs. Bryant was born on April 20, 1910, to Andrew and Eva Keb in South Bend. She had been a resident of South Bend all of her life.

She was first married to George Kolaskey, who died on Oct. 11, 1958. Her second husband was Willis Bryant, who preceded her in death on April 2, 1975.

She is survived by two sons, George Kolaskey of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Darryle Kolaskey of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Dolores Zentz of South Bend and Barbara Lewis of St. Joseph; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bryant was a seamstress for 23 years for the Studebaker Corporation until the plant was closed. Following her retirement, she was an active worker for Real Services.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
