Stanley F. Bryda

April 14, 1905 – January 24, 1982

Stanley F. Bryda, 76, of 820 S Dundee, died at 1:40pm Sunday in the South Bend Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness.  He was a former employee of the Packaging Corp of America.

Born on April 14, 1905, in Ware MA, he lived in South Bend for 60 years.  On April 21, 1934, in South Bend, he married Cecelia M. Nowostawski.  She survives with two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Winkel of South Bend and Mrs. Rita DeLong of Bitely MI; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Phyllis Nowostawski of South Bend; and his mother, Mrs Sophie Moryl of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am Wednesday in St Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church.  Rev. Edwin Phillips, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Tuesday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be observed at 7pm.  He was a member of PNA 83.
