Shawna Kay Buck, 36, of East Marion
Street, Mishawaka, passed away in South Bend, Indiana, as the
result of an automobile accident. She was born December 4, 1968,
in South Bend, Indiana, to Ed and Sandra Smith.
On May 20, 2004, as Shawna Kay Szalay,
she married Dale F. Buck Sr. in Mishawaka, Indiana. He survives
with her parents, Sandra Parks of Mishawaka and Ed Smith
of Tennessee. Also surviving are her children, Jeffrey Szalay,
Amber Szalay and William Szalay, all of South Bend; her brother,
Todd Clizbe, and her sister, Shelley Wynn, both of
South Bend; her stepchildren, Jolly Quier, Christina
Rantz, Dale Buck Jr. and Steve Buck, all of Mishawaka; her
grandparents, David and Estelle Clizbe of South Bend;
several cousins; her half brothers, Edward Smith Jr. and Leo
Smith, both of Mishawaka; and her half sisters, Tonia Edmondson
of Mishawaka, Tammi Booker of South Bend and Anna Day of
Tennessee. Also surviving is her very special friend, Cindy Radomille
of South Bend. She was preceded in death by a son, Jonathon Taylor.
Mrs. Buck was employed by Cequent Towing of Elkhart as a press
operator.
A memorial service will be held at the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 930 Park Place,
Mishawaka, on Saturday, August 20th, at 2 p.m. Bubb Funeral
Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., is assisting the family with
funeral arrangements.
