SOUTH BEND - Lawrence N. Budzinski,
42, of North O'Brien Street, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday in St.
Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Budzinski was a
former employee of Martin's Super Markets in South Bend and
Elkhart. He was born Feb. 13, 1952, in South Bend and was a
lifelong area resident.
He is survived by his mother, Loretta
Budzinski of South Bend; a sister, Martha Greenwald of
Indianapolis; two brothers, William of Cerritos, Calif., and
James of Mishawaka; and a maternal grandmother, Martha Sabo
of South Bend. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church,
Indiana University Alumni Association, Knights of Columbus Santa
Maria Council 553 and Log Chapel Prayer Group. He was a coach for
Northwest Little League, Holy Cross basketball and Knute Rockne
Babe Ruth League.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Holy
Cross Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may
be made to the church, United Health Services or the Juvenile
Diabetes Association.
