Bernice M. Burzynski

SOUTH BEND – Mrs. Bernice Burzynski, 55, of 702 N. Olive Street, died at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital after a one-month illness. She was a former employee of Associates Corp.. She was born Oct. 27, 1923 in South Bend and lived here all her life.

 

On Nov.29, 1952, as Bernice M. Farrell, she married Stanley C. Burzynski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Miss Mary Jo Burzynski of Phoenix, Ariz., and two sons John V. at home and Thomas A. of Fort Bragg, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Nana Gollatz of Bremen, Mrs. Dorothy Tekker of Osceola and Mrs. Elaine DeNeve of Mishawaka; four brothers, Roy, Charles, Francis and William Farrell, all of South Bend, and her mother, Mrs. Mary Farrell of South Bend.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Rev. Casimir Grabarz CSC officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.
