SOUTH BEND - Helen Elizabeth Butz,
73, of Downey, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died May 15 in
Downey. Mrs. Butz was born March 10, 1923, in Sherman, Ohio. As
Helen Colopy, she married James T. Butz. He survives with
two daughters, Bobbi Zabel and Kathleen Herman,
both of Chicago; three sons, James P. of Chicago, Terence of Fort
Wayne, and Kevin of Alpharetta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and two
sisters, Josephine Renzi and Gertrude Dann, both of
Akron.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday
in Sacred Heart Basilica. Cremation has taken place. Burial will
be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Ara
