SOUTH BEND - Marcel J. ''Mark'' Buysee, 73, of Catherwood Drive, died at 11:55 a.m. Friday in his home after an illness.

 

Mr. Buysee had been employed by ARCO and Valley Equipment and had managed Texaco Oil Co. Bulk Plant, Michigan City, until 1959.

 

He was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Lansing.

 

On Feb. 7, 1942, in South Bend, he married Lucille Wilson. She survives with a daughter, Judith Dildy of Ocean Springs, Miss.; two sons, Ronald of Metamora, Ill., and Len of Plano, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Simmons of Lakeland, Fla.; and a brother, William ''Billy'' Magee of Baton Rouge, La. A son, James D., preceded him in death. He was a graduate of South Bend College of Commerce and was a World War II Marine Corp veteran.

 

He was also a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, Bowlers' Country Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360 and Masonic Lodge 675.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m. and Masonic services will be at 7 p.m.
