Angelo Campanaro

Angelo Campanaro, 72, of 927 E. Indiana Avenue, died Sunday evening in St. Joseph Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Rocoaro, Italy in June 25, 1887 and lived in South Bend 32 years, coming here from Nokomis, Ill.

 

On Sept. 5, 1914 in Duquoin, Ill. he married Rose Gualdoni. She survives with a son, Louis S. and a daughter, Clara Aronson, and five grandchildren, all of South Bend, and a brother, Louis, in Italy. He was a retired Studebaker-Packard employee.

 

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today in the Walsh-Bilancio Colonial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, with burial in Bowman Cemetery. The rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
