Ruth E. Campbell

April 6, 1897 – August 5, 1977

Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Campbell, 80, of 508 Lindsey, died at 2:15am today in Memorial Hospital after an illness of one week.

She was born on April 6, 1897, in Chicago and moved here from Lafayette in 1923.  On September 3, 1917, in Chicago, she married William F. Campbell, who died in July 1969.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James R. Blake of South Bend and Ms Jean Campbell of Cedar Grove NM; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2pm Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, with Michael S. Porter, interim pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today in the funeral home.  Mrs. Campbell was a member of the church.
