SOUTH BEND - Hazel M. Carr, 99, of
Bowman Street, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Cardinal Nursing &
Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Carr was born May 1, 1897, in Walden,
N.Y., and had lived in South Bend since 1945. She is survived by
a daughter, Delena Zultanski, with whom she made her home;
12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 23
great-great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, N.Y. There will be no visitation. Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
