Henry Catalino Jr.

Henry (Hank) Catalino, Jr., 72, of Elkhart, passed away at 12:32 A.M., Saturday, July 28, 2001, in Elkhart General Hospital after a sudden illness.

 

Hank was born on September 6, 1928 in Mishawaka as the son of the late Henry and Rose (Cross) Catalino. Henry was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene L. Catalino.

 

Hank is survived by his first wife, Loretta (Borowski) Catalino of Phoenix, and their children; Henry (Kathleen) Catalino, III of Granger, Melonie (Larre) Rhodes of South Bend, Teena (Mike) Lutomski of South Bend. Their Seven Grandchildren, Tricia Catalino, Tammie Catalino, Angela Rhodes, Matthew Rhodes, Bradley Rhodes, Jaymie Lutomski, and Michael Lutomski. One Great-Granddaughter, Alycia Brown.

 

He is also survived by his second wife, Carol (Campbell) Catalino of Elkhart, and her children; Scott Williams of Shipshewana, Lenny Karner of Elkhart, John Karner of Elkhart, and Four Step-Grandchildren

 

One Sister Janet (Jerry) Carrico of Mishawaka also survives.

 

Hank was a member of the South Bend Elks, Elkhart Moose Lodge, and DeAmici's in Mishawaka. He was an avid Notre Dame Fan. He was the founder and former owner of Lil',Cat. Inc. of Elkhart from 1973-1985 and was currently working for Imperial Stamping of Elkhart

 

Friends may call on Monday, July 30 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

 

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 12:00 Noon in Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Rev. Robert E. Sullivan will be officiating.
