Raymond Ambrose Cerri

MISHAWAKA – Raymond A. Cerri, 79, of East Seventh Street died this morning in St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Cerri retired in 1963 from Studebaker Corp. of South Bend, after 23 years of service, and from Dodge Division of Reliance Electric in 1977 after 15 years of service. He was born Sept. 22, 1912 in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident.

 

On. Oct. 27, 1945 in South Bend, he married Amelia “Amy” Orban. She survives with three sons, Raymond of South Bend, and David and Mark, both of Mishawaka; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter. Mr. Cerri was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Services for Raymond A. Cerri, 79, of East Seventh Street, who died Friday morning will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends amy call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
