Raymond M. Chadwell

September 18, 1898 – December 24, 1968

Raymond M. (Jack) Chadwell, 70, of 510 W. 27^th St., died at 10am Tuesday in Osteopathic Hospital following a one week illness.

Born in North Liberty on September 18, 1898, he had lived most of his lifetime in South Bend, coming from Bremen.  He married Deeta McCrum in South Bend on October 25, 1930.  She died March 17, 1968.

Mr. Chadwell was employed by the Altman Sprinkling Service since 1963.  Surviving are a son, Paul, of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Tavernier of Mishawaka; a brother, Robert, of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Maude Shriner of South bend, and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6pm today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, where services will be conducted at 3pm Friday by Rev. Richard L. Fisher, pastor of the South Side Church of the Nazarene, Mishawaka.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka.
