MISHAWAKA - Joseph W. Chambers, 70, of Mishawaka, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Joseph was born on December 25, 1936, in South Bend, IN.

Joseph married Susan M. Connon on September 14, 1957. Survivors include his wife, Susan; three daughters, Cindy Mannell (Jim), Amy of South Bend, and Tamara Jones (Rick); three sons, Jeremy, Eric, Greg Chambers, of Mishawaka; four sons, Gregory, Nicholas, Cody and Colton; a stepson, Jesse, (Janice); and stepgreat-granddaughter, Hailey of Sarasota, Florida. Joseph and Susan were fortunate to winter in Bradenton, Florida, for 15 years. Joseph served 29 years in the Navy Reserves. Joseph retired at age 55 from Roadway Express. He was a lifelong Teamster Union Member. Also a life-time member of American Legion and a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge of Elkhart.

Visitation will be Sunday June 10, 2007, from 1 to 4 p.m. with a memorial service at 4 p.m. in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Joseph was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who took great pride in providing well for his family. He will be missed.
