SOUTH BEND - Services for Sandra W. Chaney, 48, of 213 E. South St., who died after an illness at 3:25 p.m. Monday in her home, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.

Mrs. Chaney was employed at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, as a licensed practical nurse. She was born Jan. 26, 1948, in Sturgis.

On May 21, 1978, in South Bend, she married John Chaney. He survives with two stepdaughters, Deborah Baumgartner of Elkhart and Heather Parrish of Indianapolis; her mother, Frances Weaver of Mongo; and a brother, Ace Weaver of Mongo.
