Ina Chearhart

Ina Chearhart, 81, of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2006, in Greencroft Nursing Home of natural causes. Ina was born April 18, 1925, to Russell and Edith (McMillan) Weesner in Mishawaka, Indiana.

 

On May 26, 1973, Ina married Mr. John Chearhart. He preceded her in death in 1991. Surviving is a brother, Larry (Ruth) Weesner of South Bend, Indiana, and five sisters, Wynema Jean Spagnolo of Bradenton, Florida, Alma (Larry) Turner of Houston, Texas, Nancy (Delbert) Green and Shirley Lannoo of Osceola, and Noreen Webb of Mishawaka. Also surviving are her sister-in-laws, Denise Weesner of Vandalia, Michigan, Mary Weesner of Plymouth, Dorothy Weesner of South Bend, Sharon Weesner of Noblesville, Indiana, and Eileen Chearhart of South Bend; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Merrill, Russell, Maclyn, Hilton, Dwight and Keith Weesner.

 

Ina was employed for 21 years by the National Tea Company in South Bend in the office and as the head cashier.

 

There will be no services or visitation for Ina. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions in her name may be given to Southern Care Hospice 310 W. McKinley Avenue, Mishawaka, Indiana, 46545.
