Bernard A. Chodzinski, 83, of Scenic Drive, South Bend, died Saturday, January 26, 2002 in Saint Joseph Care Center. He was born on August 2nd, 1918 in South Bend, to Steve and Hattie (Bruszkiewicz) Chodzinski. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Edward Chodzinski.
On December 19th, 1945, he married Angeline Wilczynski, who survives. Also surviving is one son, Lawrence B. of South Bend.
Mr. Chodzinski was employed in Maintenance by Torrington in South Bend, and retired in 1983. He was a member of Torrington Retirees Club, PNA #83, American Legion 357, and Moose Lodge #58.
Family and friends may call in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME Tuesday, January 29, between 2 and 8 p.m., where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 30th, at 10 a.m. with entombment in the St. Joseph Cemetery Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum.
