SOUTH BEND - Services for Marjorie Christman, 69, of Valley View Health Care Facility, Elkhart, formerly of South Bend, who died at 7:33 a.m. Friday in the nursing home, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Thallmer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Bourbon. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Wing of Valley View Health Care Facility or Logan First Steps Program.

Mrs. Christman retired from GMAC Financial Services in 1986 after 23 years of service. She was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Bloomington, Ind., and moved to this area in 1945.

On Nov. 6, 1944, in San Pedro, Calif., as Marjorie Faulkner, she married Donald E. Christman. He died in December 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Moeller of South Bend; a son, Tim of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Bariger of Spencer, Ind.; a brother, James Faulkner of Elkhart; and her mother, Ethel Haff of South Bend. She was a member of Christian Women's Club.
