Henry A. Chrobot, aged 34, of 102 N. Meade street, died Wednesday afternoon in St. Joseph hospital of shock induced by fracture of his left leg Friday in a fall.  Coroner Donald Grillo who is investigating the case, said complications resulted from the leg fracture but that death was caused by shock following dehydration.

Mr. Chrobot suffered the fracture when he fell from a ladder which he had leaned against his automobile while working in the garage at his residence.

Mr. Chrobot was born in Crumstown, this county, June 16, 1905, and was married in St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic church here in 1929 to Miss Marie Wroblewski.  She survives.  He leaves also his mother, Mrs. Leocadio Chrobot, South Bend; three children, Hoan, Henry, Jr., and Leonard, all at home; a sister Helen Chrobot and three brothers, Clement, Thaddeus and Walter Chrobot, all of Soutn Bend.

Friends will be received in the residence after 6 pm today and the funeral will be held at 9 am Saturday in St. Adalbert’s Roman Catholic church.  Right Rev. John W. Osadnik, pastor, will sing the requiem mass and interment will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
