Dec. 19, 1945-Nov. 28, 2002 SOUTH BEND – Lawrence R. Chudzicki, 56, of Orange Road, died Thursday in Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Christine; a daughter, Julie Hinton of Granger; two sons, Kenneth of North Liberty and Gregory of South Bend; a sister, Sharon Bratton; and four brothers, Bert Jr., Joe, Dennis and Randy. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m.

Lawrence Richard Chudzicki, 56, of Orange Road, South Bend, died on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 6:10 a.m. at Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1945, in South Bend to Bert and Veronica (Klemczewski) Chudzicki who have preceded him in death.

 

On Oct. 4, 1970, he married Christine Sobilo. He lived in South Bend all his life. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and James; a niece, Laura and a nephew, Steven.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Christine (Sobilo) Chudzicki; a daughter, Julie (Kris) Hinton of Granger; two sons, Kenneth (Stacie) Chudzicki of North Liberty and Gregory (Jamie Salinas) Chudzicki of South Bend; six grandchildren, Cameren, Bryce, Hannah, Kobe, Kassady and Savannah; a sister, Sharon Bratton; four brothers, Bert Jr., Joe, Dennis, Randy, and their families. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1971 and worked for Uniroyal for 26 years, and Faurecia for 5 years.

 

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 1, at the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at Holy Family Catholic Church with a rosary at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

He was very much loved and admired by all who knew him. To his wife and children, he was our hero. We thank him for making us strong, and to learn to love to the fullest.
