Julius Joseph Ciszczon

MISHAWAKA - Julius Joseph Ciszczon, 72, of Day Road, died at 4:20 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Ciszczon was a retired machinist for Allied Screw Products, retiring in 1986 after 25 years of service. He was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Portage, Pa., and lived here most of his life.

 

On Nov. 6, 1948, in Mishawaka, he married Ann Severa. She survives with two daughters, Judy Melville and Denise Shellhamer, both of Mishawaka; a son, Steve of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; four sisters, Julia Ciszczon, Emily C. Ciszczon, Stella Chamberlin and Joan Roberts, all of Mishawaka; and seven brothers, Walter of Collinsville, Ill., Stanley of Mentor, Ohio, Henry, Steve, and Joseph, all of Granger, Edward of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mike of Boca Raton, Fla. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 360, Knights of Columbus 4263, and St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
