North Liberty, IN -- Charles D. Clark, 54, residing on Riley Road, North Liberty, Ind., passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 4, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind. Mr. Clark was born on Jan. 18, 1950, in South Bend, to the late Kenneth D. and Gleo P. (Roush) Clark. One brother, Albert E. Clark, also preceded in death. Mr. Clark has been a lifelong area resident, working as a journeyman electrician with Local 153, South Bend. He formerly attended Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, North Liberty, and Shiloh Wesleyan Church, Plymouth. Mr. Clark served his country during Vietnam with the United States Army.

 

Mr. Clark is survived by four brothers, Dennis G. (Linda) Clark of Dunnellon, Fla., Larry E. (Susan) Clark of Walkerton, Ind., Rudy L. (Ruth) Clark of Knox, Ind., and Ronald D. (Barb) Clark of Mishawaka; sister-in-law, Carol Clark of Lakeville, Ind.; and his ex-wife and caregiver, Darlene Clark of South Bend.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, in the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, 69531 Pine Road, North Liberty. Rev. Tim Stewart, pastor of North Liberty Church of Christ, will officiate. Military graveside services will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 8 p.m. today, July 7, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville, and one hour prior to services in church on Thursday.
