MISHAWAKA - Clara Belle Clark, 84, of 815 West Douglas Road, died at 3:45 p.m. Friday in her home following an illness. Mrs. Clark was an Avon sales representative 47 years. She was born Sept. 4, 1909, in White Plains, Ky., and lived in this area most of her life.
On Sept. 12, 1931, as Clara Belle Dobynes, she married John L. Clark. He died in February 1965. Surviving are two sisters, Eunice Cates of Mishawaka, and Arreda DePrato of Osceola. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mishawaka, and was a member of the Avon President's Club, Golden Slipper Club, and Avon Times Collector's Club.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
