WALKERTON -- James L. Clark, 68, of North Highway 23, Walkerton, IN, passed away at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in LaPorte Hospital. Jim was born March 6, 1937, in Lake of the Woods, Ind., to Walter and Helen (Smith) Clark, and lived in the Koontz Lake area all of his life.

 

On June 27, 1958, in Hammond, IN, he was married to Carol Thompson, who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Kim (Ben) Baker and Beth (Keith) Fraine, both of Bremen, IN; son, Scott (Christy) Clark of Walkerton, IN; grandchildren, Brian, Amy, Alex and Max Baker, Kari, Jennifer and Kaitlin Fraine, Henry, Hannah and John Clark; sister, Judy (Duwayne) Gouker of Walkerton; and a brother, Don Clark of Walkerton, IN.

 

Jim was a self-employed truck driver and artist, a member of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church, and a charter member of the Koontz Lake Lions Club.

 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday EST in the Koontz Lake Missionary Church, with Pastor Brian Baughman and Rev. Lloyd George officiating. Burial will be at Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. EST in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, and Saturday one hour before services in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Koontz Lake Missionary Church.
