Jean Clark

Jean Clark, 88, formerly of West Ireland Road in South Bend, Ind., passed away on Saturday, July 17, in Southfield Village in South Bend of natural causes. Jean was born on Feb. 14, 1916, in Knox, Ind., to James and Florence (Dunkelburger) Barnes. Her parents and her brother, Clarence Barnes, have preceded her in death.

On Sept. 5, 1947, in Southside Church of God in South Bend she married George Clark.

Jean is survived by her husband, George; and her sister-in-law, Annabelle Ramey of Roanoke, Va. Jean was retired from Ball Band and attended Hillside Missionary Church. She enjoyed animals, fishing, boating, and camping.

Friends may visit in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Pastor Ken Fetter will be officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
