SOUTH BEND - Joseph F. Clark, 52, of 25th Street, South Bend, Ind., died early Tuesday, April 6, 1999 in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Clark was born on January 12, 1947 in Midland County, Michigan to Jack R. and Alice M. (Tucker) Clark who preceded him in death. Moving from New Orleans, Louisiana in 1997, Mr. Clark was an Ironworker who traveled throughout the United States before settling in the South Bend area.
Survivors include seven children, one sister, Yvonne J. Boynton of Midland, Michigan, and by his four brothers, Archie J. Clark of Skidway Lake, Michigan, Jack R. Clark of Midland, Rocky J. Clark of Cassopolis, Michigan and Clark W. Clark of Mishawaka, Indiana. He is also survived by a very dear friend, Karen Hay of South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 Ironwood Drive, South Bend. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 9, 1999 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mr. Clark to Hospice of Saint Joseph County.
