Laurel E. Clark

NORTH LIBERTY - Mrs. Laurel E. Clark, 67, of 28151 Quinn Road, North Liberty, passed away in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, at 12:12 a.m. Sunday after suffering a heart attack in her residence. She formerly was employed at Koszegi Products in South Bend as a seamstress and designer for 10 years. She was born in Delong, Ind. on July 16, 1929.

 

She was married as Laurel E. Kaley to John R. Clark in North Liberty on Dec. 28, 1947. He survives along with three daughters, Lynn Lambert of Osceola, Diane Clark of South Bend and Karla Wise of Lakeville; three sons, Roger and Dane, both of North Liberty and Kirk of Grabill, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; four sisters, Luanne Root of Fort Wayne, Peggy Clark of North Liberty and Mary Newcomer and Carol Tarnecy, both of Elkhart; and a brother, Dale Kaley of South Bend. A brother, Edward preceded her in death.

 

Mrs. Clark was a lifelong 4-H leader and a member of the Olive Branch United Brethren Church where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph County 4-H Scholarship Fund.
