Matthew L. Clark, 46, of Mayflower Road in South Bend, Ind., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 9.

Mr. Clark was born on April 11, 1957, in LaPorte, Ind., to Stuart L. and Carrie Clark of New Carlisle, Ind.

Surviving with his parents are his children, Jacquiline D. (Maynard) Ewert of Niles, Mich., Andrew K. Clark of South Bend and Michael L. Clark of Lynchburg, Va.; a grandson, Riley Ewert; a sister, Sandra J. (Timothy) Fink of Oradea, Romania; a brother, Daniel E. (Karen) Clark of Indianapolis, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and by a close friend, Dr. Marty Blad.

Mr. Clark was an electrician with Blackthorne Electric and IBEW Local 153. He taught motorcycle safety and was a member of A.B.A.T.E.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., New Carlisle. Burial will follow at Olive Chapel Cemetery, New Carlisle. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
