William James Clark, 8, of 2102 Lincoln Way West, passed away Sunday morning at 3:04 a.m. in Memorial Hospital. William was born in South Bend on July 19, 1988. At the time of the automobile accident that resulted in his death, he was a first grade student at Warren Elementary School.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Ruth Ann Arnold; his father, Johnny Dewayne Clark; a sister, Vilene Alexander; two brothers, Dominique Dewayne Clark and Johnny Clark, Jr., all of South Bend. Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Norma Arnold of South Bend; his maternal grandfather, Harold Arnold of Springfield, Mass.; his paternal grandmother, Vilene Flenoy of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. in Pentecostal Church of God In Christ. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, in Alford's Mortuary.
