Jack W. Clauson

SOUTH BEND - Jack W. Clauson, 79, of Erskine Boulevard, died at 4 a.m. Monday in Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Clauson retired from Twin Branch Power Plant of Indiana Michigan Power Co. He was born March 12, 1915, in Chicago, and lived in South Bend most of his life, coming from Dayton, Ohio.

 

On April 19, 1943, in South Bend, he married Edith DeWees. She survives with a son, Steven of South Bend; and a brother, George W. of South Bend. He was a member of Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge 294, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend and American Bell Collectors Association, and was a veteran of World War II.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Cremation will take place with burial in Staunton, Ohio. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, where Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
