Donald M. Clay, 57, of 19901 Southland Ave., died at 9:20 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Hospital after a five-month illness. He had been employed at Nelson Fuel Inc. 14 years. He was born Feb. 7, 1915, in Lakeville. On Dec. 31, 1956, in South Bend, he married Helen Liszewski who survives. Also surviving is a son, Howard, of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. John Sarber of Plymouth; four grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald of Plymouth and James of South Bend and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Pippenger of Lakeville, Mrs. Eugene Ginther of South Bend, and Mrs. Russell Wilcox of Plymouth. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Guisinger Memorial Chapel where arrangements are pending.
