OSCEOLA - Betty J. Mason Clipp, 73, passed away at 9:33
p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, in her brother's home surrounded by
her loving family. Betty J. Mason Clip was born on September 18,
1934, to the late Kenneth G. and Ruth G. (Moser) Mason.
She formerly attended the Cedar Road Missionary Church, and more
recently attended Harvest Community Church. She was a 1953
graduate from Madison Township High School. She enjoyed horses,
riding and showing horses was her hobby.
On March 30, 1955, she married Jon R. Clipp,
who preceded her in death on December 4, 1982. Also preceding her
in death were her parents, and a brother, Chuck Mason. She is
survived by her sisters, Norma (Elmer) Rapp of Milford,
Mary J. Reed of South Bend, Ruth C. Labello of
Elkhart, Nancy K. Barrier of Savannah, TN, and Nina Tom
of Bremen; brothers, James (Nancy) Mason of Wakarusa, Gordon
(Ann) Mason of South Bend, Roger (Stella) Mason of Elkhart,
Warren (Martha "Marty") Mason of Elkhart and Richard
(Donna) Mason of Osceola.
Services for Betty will be at 11 a.m.
Friday, June 27, in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109
Lincoln Way W., Osceola, Ind., with Dr. James Bennett
officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
today, Thursday, June 26, and one hour prior to services on
Friday in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will
be at Olive Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to The Elkhart Chapter of the Centers of Hospice and
Palliative Care or to the American
Cancer Society.
The Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
