SOUTH BEND - Leyon Richard Clough, 56, passed away on
Thursday, October 16, 2008, at 6:28 p.m. in the Saint Joseph
Regional Medical Center. Leyon was born on February 10, 1952, in
South Bend, to Charles and Albina H. (Kaczmarek) Clough.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his
mother; three siblings, Brenda S. Scott of Elkhart, Shawn
(Kelly) Clough of Toms River, NJ, and JoAnna (Abdullah) Karin;
an aunt, Yvonne Kaczmarek of South Bend; eight nephews,
four nieces, five great-nieces and great-nephews. Leyon is also
survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins on his father's
side of the family. Leyon was active in the Special Olympics as a
runner. He enjoyed building bicycles and fixing lawn motors. He
cut grass for many of his neighbors.
Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
