Lester Cochran

May 29, 1909 – February 4, 1981

Lester Cochran, 71, of 1506 Kessler Blvd, was dead on arrival Wednesday at Memorial Hospital, following a sudden illness. 

He was born in Mount Vernon IL, on Mary 29, 1909, and in 1974 retired from the Indiana Motor Bus Co after 30 years.  Recently he worked at Trinetics, Inc. in Mishawaka.  He married Gloria DuVall in Indianapolis on September 29, 1950.

Surviving with his widow are four daughters, Mrs. Roger (Karen) Clifton of Mishawaka, Miss Carla Cochran, at home, Mrs. Jill Goodale of West Covina CA and Gail Cochran of Temple City CA; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Cosner of Hasting MI, Mrs Irene Sommerville of Paris, France and Mrs. Maxine McCullogh of Sao Paulo (Sao Carlos) Brazil and three brothers, Ray Cochran of Escondido CA, Onnie W Cochran of Michigan City and Wilbur Cochran of New Buffalo

Friends may call from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka.  Cochran was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mishawaka.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
