Ruby Cohn

Ruby "Bobby Lee" Cohn, 77, of Riverside Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, April 26, in her home. She was born on May 5, 1922 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Abraham and Bessie (Flox) Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Toby (Stuart) Cohn in 1989.

In 1944 she married Elliot Cohn, who survives. Mrs. Cohn was a member of Temple Beth-El and Hadassah. She had also been active in the Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Elliott Cohn of South Bend; a daughter, Marlene "Judy" (Andy) Orent of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Richard (Lisa) Cohn of East Windsor, N.J. and Stuart Cohn and his companion, Nedra Kennelly of South Bend; a brother, Richard "Sonny" Zimmerman of Tucson, Ariz.; and by six grandchildren.

Services were held on Friday, April 29, at Temple Beth-El. Burial followed in the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Ruby Cohn to Temple Beth-El, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center or to the Osteoporosis Foundation.
