MISHAWAKA - Services for Bernadette Coil,
87, of Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, formerly of Mishawaka, who
died at 2:27 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Community Hospital, will
be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will
be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call
from 3 to 5 p.m. today in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where
a wake service will be at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions maybe
made to any charity.
Mrs. Coil retired from the former Swift Ice
Cream Co. in the 1960s. She was born May 16, 1908, in Mishawaka,
and was a lifelong area resident.
On June 2, 1928, in Mishawaka, as Bernadette Biesbrouck, she married Russell ''Rut'' Coil. He died March 6, 1981. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the church, Senior Sodality of the church, and Royal Neighbors of America.
