MISHAWAKA - Jessyca Jo Colwell, 29, of Mishawaka, passed
away May 25, 2007 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in
Mishawaka. Jessyca was born in Elkhart on November 23, 1977, to
Roland and Carla (Combs) Colwell. She is survived by her
infant son Sawyer Dallas Burk of Mishawaka; her parents,
of Rochester, IN; a twin brother, Joshua Colwell of Rochester; a
sister, Cari Brown of Rochester; her maternal grandmother,
Shirley Combs of Warren, IN; nieces, Abigail, Neah and
Aaliyah; and nephews, Noah, Bailey, Clayton and Ethan.
Jessyca held a Masters degree of Arts & English Literature and was an Adjunct Lecturer at I.U.S.B. along with teaching at the writing center, in addition to preparing to take a new position at Bethel College this fall. Jessyca was an Alumnus of Indiana University.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday May 28th with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. The family realizes that, due to the holiday weekend, flowers will be hard to obtain so memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
