Sister M. Ruth Dolores, 80, of St. Maty’s Convent died there Friday morning after a lengthy illness. Bor Agnes Josephine Connelly on Oct. 6, 1896 in Salamanca, N.Y., she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on July 3, 1920 after coming from New York. She was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1921 and made her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1923. She was assigned to teaching in the colleges and high scools conducted by the order, including St. Mary’s College from 1922 to 1925. Upon her retirement in 1960 she was librarian for St. Mary’s Convent.

 

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call in the convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today.
