Larry E. Connon

September 14, 1941 – October 20, 2003

Larry Eugene Connon, 62, of Lake Street, Osceola IN, passed away at 3pm on Monday, October 20, in the St Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend IN.

Larry Connon was born on September 14, 1941, in Mishawaka IN.  On January 26, 1963, in Mishawaka, Larry married the former Joan Carol Columbia, who survives.  He is also survived by two sons, Larry A. (Vicki) Connon of Mishawaka and Doug (Shelley) Connon of Granger IN; one daughter, Lara (Bob) Niemier of South Bend; two granddaughters, Kati and Hannah; two brothers, Ed Connon of Decatur IL, and Church Connon of Chicago IL; and by a sister, Margaret Manley of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm today, October 23, and one hour prior to the services in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main St., Mishawaka.  Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, October 24.  Interment is to follow the services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, where military rites will be performed.

Mr. Connon was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Army.  He was employed at Simon Brothers (Clark Food Service) for 25 years.  After retiring from Clark Foods, he worked at Meijer’s for two years.

Larry Connon will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the fellowship and happiness that he left behind.
