Richard Earl Connon, 77, formerly of Mishawaka IN, passed away Sunday at 7:45pm at the Liberty Retirement Community, Dayton OH

 

Richard was born on November 21, 1927, in Mishawaka IN, to George & Treve (Sagendorf) Connon who both have preceded him in death.  Richard was also preceded by his wife Patricia and one brother, Robert Connon

 

Richard served in the US Army Air Corps and retired from Indiana Bell/Ameritech in 1989 after 42 years of service.  Richard was a member of the Communication Workers of America

 

Richard is survived by his children, Robert (Dana) Connon of St Louis MO, Thomas (Sue) Connon of Dayton OH, Judy (Julian) Connon-Wills of Granger IN, Richard (Lori) Connon of Plano TX; eight grandchildren; and one brother, George III Connon of Carmel IN

 

Family & friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8pm in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will take place at 10am on Friday, June 17, 2005, with Dr. M. Gregory Timmons officiating the services.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola IN, where VFW Post #360 will conduct military rites.
