SOUTH BEND - Leo Andrew Paul Couch, 72, of Fort Wayne, formerly of South Bend, died Friday in his home of natural causes. Mr. Couch retired in 1956 from Studebaker Corp. after 22 years. He was born May 16, 1922, in South Bend. Surviving are three sons, David L., James P. and Leo A., all of South Bend; one grandchild; two sisters, Margarita Humphrey of Mishawaka and Cecilia Bauters of South Bend; and three brothers, Fred H. and Howard, both of Fort Wayne, and Victor of South Bend. He was a World War II Marine veteran.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the church for Masses. D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home, Maplewood Park, Fort Wayne, is in charge of arrangements.
