SOUTH BEND - Winifred Elizabeth Cramer, 86, passed away at
2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21st, in Baptist Hospital East in
Louisville, KY. Winifred was born on February 28, 1922, in
Mishawaka, IN, to Clinton and Pearl (Replogle) Shupert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Violet,
Nellie, and Evelyn; and by a brother, Calvin. Surviving Winifred
are a daughter, Arlene (Chuck) Schuler of Prospect, KY; a
son, Bruce Cramer of South Bend; former daughter-in-law,
Deborah Lindsey of South Bend; grandchildren, Marci,
Bryce, Hilary, John and Suzanne; and great-grandchildren, Chasen,
Owen, Elijah, Ashton, Ian and Olivia. Winifred enjoyed mushroom
hunting, walking and playing cards. She spent most of her
adolescent life on the family farm in Lakeville.
Funeral services for Winifred will be at 10
a.m. Saturday, May 31, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S.
Mayflower Road, with visitation one hour prior to the services.
