SOUTH BEND – Death once more stretched
its hand over US highway No. 31 at 9:30 o’clock Friday night
when Clement G. Cressy Jr., aged 16, of 1115 N. St. Peter
Street, was fatally injured. The bicycle he was riding towards
the city, was struck by an automobile.
He was born in South Bend, Aug. 20, 1920. He
leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clement Cressy Sr.; four
brothers, Robert, Ralph, Leonard and John and two sisters, Sarah
Ann and Margaret Cressy, all at home. The body will lie in the
residence.
