Miss Eva Cullar

September 1, 1898 – Mary 26, 1971

Miss Eva Cullar, 72, of North Liberty, died in the Cardinal Nursing Home at 3:30 am today after a short illness.  She was a retired Central Junior High School teacher.

Born September 1, 1898, in Union Twp., she had lived in North Liberty her lifetime.  Surviving are a brother, Fred Cullar of North Liberty, and a sister, Miss Nell Cullar of the Cardinal Manor Residential Home.

Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in the A.M.Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty.  Services will be held at 2pm Friday in the North Liberty United Methodist Church, of which Miss Cullar was a member, Rev. Robert Willbanks, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty.  Miss Cullar was a member of the W.S.C.S. and a 1921 Purdue University graduate.
