Sister M. Constance Cullen CSC

Sister M. Constance CSC, 82, of Saint Mary’s Convent died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday in the convent following a lengthy illness. She was born as Cecilia Rose Cullen on May 20, 1904 in Idaho Springs, Colo. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on June 29, 1934, coming from Los Angeles, Calif. She became a novice in 1935 and took her vows Feb. 2, 1937. Surviving is a niece, Sister M. Josepha CSC of Van Nuys, Calif. She was an accountant and served in the business offices of Holy Cross Hospital, Salt Lake City; St. Alphonsus Hospital, Boise, Idaho; and St. Agnes Hospital, Fresno, Calif. In 1974 she retired to St. Catherine’s Convent, Ventura, Calif. In 1985 she was transferred to St. Mary’s Convent on campus.

 

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today in St. Mary’s Convent parlor, where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today.
