Anna Louise Culp

Anna Louise Culp, 98, of South Ironwood Road, Mishawaka, formerly of Sherman Avenue, South Bend, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, in Caring Junction.

 

Anna Louise was born September 2, 1907, in Elkhart, IN, to the late Arthur and Mary (Benner) Culp. She is survived by her best friends of many years, Dorothy Beghtel and Bill Beghtel, both of South Bend.

 

Anna Louise had worked as a home economist for I & M electric for 36 years, retiring in 1972. One of her primary jobs was to personally visit every family that had purchased an electric range to explain the intricacies of electric cooking. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, South Bend, Martha's Circle and Friendship Circle at the church. She was also a Purdue University graduate.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 51900 Mayflower Road, South Bend, with Rev. Russell Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart, IN. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the church.
